Jim has been printmaking for over 30 years and is an accomplished printmaker in traditional techniques.

Although traditional techniques have been a passion of his for 30 years Jim has been exploring, developing and reproducing images with new media digital techniques for the past 10 years. This process, like many new advancements in image making, cannot be compared to traditional printmaking and shouldn't be. This is more of a "painters" printing process to make their work accessible to collectors who appreciate the imagery of an artist and are unable to access the original for purchase.

Jim was always interested in creating prints that were as rich in color, as vibrant, and as detailed as his paintings. Digital technology has offered this capability with the benefit of using archival inks and the finest artists archival cotton papers and canvas.

This new state of the art technology is offering another method for artists to create and reproduce high quality images for collectors of their work. Although the process is quite different than traditional techniques, it has capabilities that cannot be attained through any other printing process.

After the original painting is finished, Jim prints each piece individually in his "New Media Digital Studio" and pays strict attention to detail and quality. His years of experience in the art of printmaking has led him to understand and see the artistic and creative benefits for the artist and the art collector in this new printing process.

This technique allows Jim to approach visual imagery as an author or storyteller.
Creating small editions that are 100% personally created from his originals and accessible and affordable to the collectors who appreciate his work.
