James   Miller

Jim studied the art of drawing, painting, and printmaking in Halifax, Montreal, and Toronto, Canada. After graduating from the Ontario College of Art in 1983 he immersed himself into his work fulltime.

Influenced by many European and American Masters, Jim is a constant student of art.

Exploring landscape, still life and figurative work, indulging in the narrative realm of symbol and metaphor, always observing, inquiring and experimenting with the visual experience of life.

Jim maintains a studio in Newfoundland, Canada, and more recently in Naples, Florida, part-time.

His paintings, drawings and prints are admired and collected around the world.
